The Karaté Sportif Duvernay – Saint-Vincent-de-Paul school, located on boulevard Saint-Martin Est in Laval, offers karate and kickboxing classes to people of all ages and levels.
The Management team at the Karaté Sportif Duvernay – Saint-Vincent-de-Paul school consists of Annie Pier Forget, Francisco Poirier and Sylvain Pietrantonio. Annie Pier holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and has been a karateka since 1999. She is a 6th dan black belt. Francisco holds a double 3rd dan black belt in karate and kickboxing. Sylvain is a 4th dan black belt in karate.
Through its martial arts training, the Karaté Sportif group encourages the development of self-respect, respect for others, perseverance and self-discipline. In addition, the school’s Management team often notices a marked improvement in their young students’ behaviour as they progress through the learning process.
